AJA DataCalc is a tool that calculates storage requirements for professional video and audio media. Tailored for video professionals, this application is compatible with a wide range of industry-standard video formats and compression methods, such as AJA Raw, Apple ProRes, DVCProHD, HDV, XDCAM, DV, CineForm, REDCODE, Avid DNxHD, Avid DNxHR, Apple Intermediate, 16-bit RGB and RGBA, uncompressed, and more. It supports various video standards including NTSC, PAL, 1080i, 1080p, 720p, 2K, 4K, and 8K.

AJA DataCalc provides an intuitive interface that allows users to adjust settings and estimate storage requirements efficiently on a single screen. Users can input media durations in units of days, hours, seconds, or even frames using timecode mode. The application provides flexibility in displaying results by toggling between alternative storage units like KB, MB, GB, or TB for storage calculations or various time formats when in TimeCalc mode.
